Vicky Davis is a registered nurse with over 16 years of experience in acute care and clinical leadership. She began her career on a busy surgical unit and later transitioned to the Post Anesthetic Care Unit after completing critical care training, deepening her expertise in post-operative recovery and acute pain management. Her passion for mentorship led her to serve as a Clinical Nurse Educator, supporting surgical teams and fostering professional growth.
Now working as a Practice Consultant, Vicky supports the implementation of the Minimum Nurse to Patient Ratios (mNPR) – advancing safer staffing and quality care across her organization. She is especially interested in acute pain management and evolving innovations shaping pain care, and is committed to empowering nursing teams, and ensuring patients feel heard and supported throughout their care journey.
