About

I am a Clinical Nurse Educator on the inpatient surgical wards at St. Paul’s Hospital. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at the University of Alberta and my Masters in Nursing Degree at Athabasca University. My clinical background includes working as an RN on surgery and in critical care, as well as, being a Clinical Resource Nurse supporting nurses and patients at MSJ.

Over the years, I have been involved in various quality and patient safety initiatives and projects. Additionally, I have been a long-standing member of the pain education planning committee at SPH and have participated in numerous pain workshops. It has been exciting to see how these workshops have evolved year after year capturing a wider and more dynamic audience.

On a personal note, I love to bake and spend time with my two wonderful kids and husband.
