Dr. Aaron Rizzardo

Background

Aaron R. Rizzardo MD, B.Sc. P.T., FCAMT, FRCPC (Internal Medicine and Pain Medicine). Dr. Rizzardo is a graduate from the School of Rehabilitation Sciences’ department of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia. He further completed his Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy Exam.  Dr. Rizzardo then graduated with his medical degree at the University of British Columbia in 2014.  After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at UBC he went on to complete the Pain Medicine Residency.

Dr. Rizzardo has successfully completed the Royal College exam in both Internal Medicine and Pain Medicine specialties and is certified in both specialties with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Rizzardo currently practices in Internal Medicine and Pain Medicine at both St Paul’s Hospital and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre; where he is the academic lead. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UBC Department of Medicine, Division of Community Internal Medicine and has an Associate Membership with the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics. He is also the General Internal Medicine Representative on the RCPSC Pain Medicine Specialty Committee.
