Jane Ngai, BSc, BScN, RN(C)

Flow & Access Clinical Nurse Leader – Surgery | Nurse Navigator – Transitional Pain Clinic, St. Paul’s Hospital

Jane is a Critical Care–trained Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in acute and perioperative care. Her clinical background spans more than ten years in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU), and she now serves as both the Flow & Access Clinical Nurse Leader for Surgical Services and a Nurse Navigator with the Transitional Pain Clinic (TPC) at St. Paul’s Hospital.

In her current role with the TPC, Jane supports patients navigating complex surgical recoveries and chronic pain transitions, helping bridge acute care and community support. Her work integrates perioperative care with patient-centered pain management, reflecting her commitment to improving outcomes and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

Jane is also deeply involved in nursing leadership and education. She is an executive member of the PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association of British Columbia (PANBC), where she helps coordinate provincial education initiatives aimed at professional development in this evolving specialty.

Outside of her professional work, Jane maintains a high level of physical activity—competing in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting, cycling, and motorcycling.
