PJ Matras, RN, MN is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pain Management at Providence Health Care (PHC), in Vancouver BC. PJ has been nursing for 30 years, practicing in many areas prior to completing her masters’ degree and joining PHC as a CNS in 2016.
PJ is committed to improving patient outcomes and experience. She is the lead for the Pacific Pain Forum planning committee, an executive member of the CNSABC, a member of the education board at PainBC, and a Terina Werry Award Recipient from PHC. PJ has a passion for nursing, CNS service, pain management and improving care for those experiencing pain.
